On Tuesday October 20, MHMS held its Annual Meeting at One Brigham Circle. Thank you to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, our corporate buddy, for hosting the meeting location. The guest speaker was Carol McLaughlin, from the Office of Business Development, who spoke about the ReStore program which offers business and property owners a grant for façade and signage fabrication.
The financial report, minutes from the last year’s meeting and board elections took place. New appointed to the board are residents, Gar Chiang, Rob Glass, Luisa Harris; business owners, Sharon Driscoll, The Crossing, Otto Hernandez, Montecristo Mexican Grill, and incumbents Dermot Doyne, Penguin Pizza and Diarmuid O’Neill, The Squealing Pig; and institutional community based partners, Jill Griffin, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and incumbent Bruce Smith, Harvard School of Public Health.
Food was provided for over 60 guests by Penguin Pizza, Flann O’Briens, Flames, Montecristo Mexican Grill, Lilly’s Gourmet Pasta Express, and J.P. Licks. A big thank you to the staff and all the volunteers that helped to put the event on.
