Mission Hill Main Streets fundraiser took place on June 1 with close to 100 people in attendance. The event raised operational funds for MHMS and a planter project to be implemented this summer. MHMS recognized 2008 Volunteer of the Year, Galen Gilbert and Business of the Year, J.P. Licks for their support of the Main Streets program. MHMS also presented Mrs. Thomas Menino with a token of appreciation for the support the mayor has provided to MHMS programs such as the Elder Friendly Business District.
