Faces on the Hill was a great success last night!!! We estimated there was about 50 or more people in attendance. Everyone had a great time listening and dancing to the music that was performed by the Music Club. They performed a selection of Jazz songs. It was great to see such a variety of people, from young to old, in attendance for our event. Supporters of Mission Hill Main Streets were there and people that were curious about Faces on the Hill. The music drew people into J.P. Licks, and they got to see what the project was all about.
India Clark wrote up all the bio's for the business owners, workers, and patrons. She went into detail about how each person started working at their business and how much they liked Mission Hill. When people looked at the portraits they got to how each particular person contributed to the Mission Hill Area. We also passed out applications for our Boston Community Change Card. Many people were signed up and happy to help local businesses and charities at the same time.
