Countdown to Kindergarten

Last year Mission Hill Main Streets partnered with Children's Hospital of Boston to organize and host our Countdown to Kindergarten parade. The day began at One Brigham Circle where the children were read to by Storymobile and given backpacks from Childrens Hospital. The parade began with State Representative Jeffrey Sanchez leading the way and wound all throughout the Mission Hill business district, to shops and restaurants where gifts were given to help each child start school prepared. The parade ended at the Community Picnic where a fire truck, story tellers and music called the children's attention.
